As a family-owned leader in the industry, we pride ourselves on our swift service and extensive in-house capabilities, including North America’s largest circular knitting operation. Salvation Army

The Madison County Salvation Army provides assistance to the homeless, the hungry, at-risk youth, veterans, seniors and anyone else who knocks on its door and asks for help. Chairman Phil Page is a member of the local Salvation Army Board. All donations will directly benefit Madison County families as 85% of everything that is raised actually stays in our county.

United Organizations of Madison County Christmas Project

At Cap America, we strive to relieve some of the struggle families encounter during the holiday season. Each year, Cap America employees provided gifts for over 50 children from the community.

Madison County Caring Council

Community Outreach Coordinator Maria Weekley serves as a member of the Madison County Caring Council. The Caring Council is a network of individuals from various companies and agencies that are working together to help meet the needs of individuals in the community.

Chamber of Commerce

Cap America is a Premier Member of the Chamber of Commerce in Madison County, where the company resides, as well as a member of St Francis County.

Fredericktown R-1 Educational Foundation

Phil Page, Chairman serves as a member for the Board for the Fredericktown Educational Foundation. The Fredericktown Educational Foundation is a non-profit corporation that assists the Fredericktown R-1 school district with providing state-of-the-art educational environments for students.

Scholarship/Tuition Reimbursement

Cap America supports higher education for those that wish to pursue it. The Cap America College Assistance Program (C.A.P) provides financial assistance to employees that wish to return to school and children of employees that are just beginning their college careers. Cap America offers a tuition reimbursement program, which is available to any full-time employee that wishes to obtain an undergraduate degree.

Cap America also provides an opportunity for the dependents of our employees to obtain a scholarship to help further their academic careers. The Phillip and Mary Page – Cap America Jubilee Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a student from Fredericktown, Marquand-Zion, Arcadia Valley, or Meadow Heights High School who demonstrates financial need and has a minimum GPA of 3.25 and plans to attend UMSL.

Industry & Education

The Industry & Education organization is made up of local schools and businesses working together to build a curriculum tailored to production and manufacturing. The goal of the organization is to teach students transferable skills and give them experience with local businesses that could result in a job offer upon graduation. Cap America participates in this program by giving tours of the facility and participating in the transition & career fairs.

Mineral Area Training Consortium

Cap America is a member of the Mineral Area Training Consortium. The consortium is a group of local businesses with simliar training needs that comes together each year to apply for the Missouri One Start Customized Training Grant. The grant allows the local college to assess the group's training needs each year and create a training schedule based on those needs. Employees of participating companies may take part in the training at no cost.

HR Director, Sarah Burgin is a member of the Workforce Development Board (WDB). The WDB strives to provide job seekers with gainful employment and allow them to become self-sufficient individuals. They also seek to provide businesses with a skilled, trained workforce to compete successfully in the global economy.
