Profile
Refers to the crown height of the cap above the visor. There are generally 3 types of cap profiles:
LOW PROFILE
MEDIUM PROFILE
HIGH PROFILE
Structure
A baseball cap can have buckram or stiff fabric behind the front two panels of the crown giving it structure & therefore it is called a structured cap. An unstructured cap has no additional support behind those front two panels. If you take a cap off your head & set it down on a flat surface, a structured hat will continue to look the same & generally keep its shape. An unstructured cap will collapse slightly without your head in the hat supporting it.
